The lamp runs at a peak irradiance high enough to deliver a lethal UV-C dose—over 100 mJ/cm²—in under 60 seconds. The ozone-free quartz formulation keeps the chamber clean and chemical-free by avoiding unwanted byproducts.
Why it fits the dental workflow
Inside dental sterilization boxes, space is tight and cycle speed is the law. The 5kW tube delivers the energy density needed to inactivate HBV, HIV, and tubercle bacilli on curved surfaces and in shadows—even without pre-cleaning. The practical details you can’t skip
A 5kW system needs a dedicated power supply and serious thermal management inside the unit. You’re dealing with high operating temperature, so airflow or water cooling has to be dialed in to hold the right junction temperature. That’s how you keep the spectral output stable over the lamp’s 9,000-hour rated life. And before you call it good, make sure the sterilization chamber’s reflector geometry matches the lamp’s arc length—otherwise you’re throwing away usable energy.
