What matters under the hood The 365nm peak sits right in the absorption band of the photoinitiators used in offset, flexo, screen, and gravure UV inks. That drives efficient cross-linking without dumping excess heat into the sheet. We’re running a high-pressure mercury vapor lamp, stabilized so spectral output stays repeatable across its life. The reflector geometry shapes a defined irradiance profile across the substrate. Peak irradiance is tuned so the delivered energy density hits the ink’s cure window—quick enough for high-speed running, steady enough for consistent surface cure and adhesion.
